This is to introduce our company, J.W.Hoy
Co., Inc.
We are a structural steel detailing firm employing eight full
time draftsmen (see the attached list). Also attached is a listing
of fabricators we have worked with over the years.
We pride our ability in meeting delivery dates while
providing hassle free details, allowing the fabricator to
concentrate on his part of the project. Using 100% cad allows for
transmitting our drawings over the internet to give our customers
faster turnaround. We also have an ftp site for quicker downloads of
large files.
We have been using the Asteel Detailing System since 1990 and
have found it very effective in increasing not only our production,
but also our ability to follow any fabricators standards. We are
also now using Tekla Structures Software
for 3d modeling and downloads of CNC information for the fabricator.
The 3d model may also be used in the field by the general contractor
(with our free viewer software) for updating progress
and other record keeping functions
We have been in business since 1976 for the sole purpose
of providing fabricators with quality details at a reasonable
price. We have
handled projects of various sizes, including 8500 tons for a ford
motor paint facility in
Detroit. We
have been involved in several projects that have received awards for
excellence in craftsmanship, for our work and the
fabricators.
We are registered with CCR and available for federal
government projects.
